POISONOUS PLANTS NOTE: THESE PLANTS ARE DANGEROUS TO YOUR PIG!!!! A pig’s voracious appetite is the stuff that legends are made of, so it may be up to you to save him from his stomach! Keep an eye out for these common plants that are poisonous to potbellied pigs (and frequently to other animals and people). Become familiar with what they look like and where they are around your home. If you find your pig ingesting any of them, take a sample of the plan with your pig to the vet. Your pig may need treatment. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PLANTS IN YOUR AREA, PLEASE CALL YOUR LOCAL FLORIST, NATURE CENTER OR POISON CONTROL CENTER. THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE A COMPLETE LIST, BUT RATHER A REFERENCE TOOL. PLEASE EMAIL US IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS OR ITEMS TO ADD TO THE LIST.
